I am hoping that my blog is giving you some idea of my experience. Because we are at sea for a few days, I now have time to respond to some of your questions.

We have about 650 passengers traveling on this cruise of which 450 are members of the Around The World Cruise Club. Of those, about 60 have been on similar ATW cruises. The largest per cent of passengers are from the US and most are my age.

I am not a foody. I can report that the food has been very tasty with the exception of a quesadilla that was served as an Hawaiian treat. I was afraid to ask what was in it. Other passengers who look more cuisine experienced have told me that they believe the food is wonderful. The chef tries to highlight foods from the areas that we will be visiting as we approach or are in a port.

I know that this will be surprise but I have not hosted a party in my cabin as yet. I have been given a huge bottle of scotch which will need to be depleted by New York. I still have time.

The other passengers have been fun. I have already met some golfers and we have plans to play in French Indonesia. I have also met some gamblers that will join me on a tour of the casinos in Monte Carlo. We are already strategizing our approach. Never to early to make money losing plans.
