Welcome to Kobe

First, back to Tokyo

I had a request for a picture and something about becoming a Geisha.

I volunteered to go on stage and play a game with the Geisha. I lost the game; got some sake and didn’t become a Geisha.

Now to Kobe. We didn’t arrive until the afternoon. I had a short excursion that included a garden and a trip across the second largest suspension bridge in the world.

This garden is relatively new. It was created in the early 1900s. The land exchanged ownership several times throughout the history of Kobe and included a European family.
The brick remains of the chimney was shaken from the house in the earthquake that hit the area in the late 1900s.

The garden was beautiful but again we were too early to enjoy anything in bloom.

A bride and groom also looking for blooming trees or plants.

And then it was a drive to look at a big bridge.

It is long.
Finally found something blooming.

Cheers and good night Joey.
