Langkawi, Malaysia

We have visited a bustling city of commerce followed by a more relaxing island environment. Today we are touring an island of 80,000 people. The most relaxing day yet. We were able to see monkeys on the way to our first stop.

The island is known for its eagle.

And what is referred to as their Eiffel Tower.

From there, we visited a museum and shop.

Their fishing tradition
Musical instruments
Dresses

Then it was on to their aquarium. The Auckland aquarium and ours at home is considerably better. Hence the pictures of animals other than fish.

Their otter show
Okay, some fish

An hour of beach time was included.

This was a spectacular beach

Malaysia was a beautiful experience. The economy was destroyed by the pandemic. Today, they are working hard to increase the tourism industry with Chinese investors devoting billions of dollars to the effort. Definitely a place to visit.

Cheers and good night Joey.
