The third of the consecutive stops of the Western African sweep is the country of Ivory Coast. This is the most populated of the stops and the largest city.

Our first stop was the St Paul Cathedral. Designed by an architect from New Zealand. Very big and contemporary.

We proceeded to The Museum of Civilization.

A two hour drive took us to The Grand Bassam. This was the capital of the area during the French occupation. Many of the structures were in disrepair but one is used as the Costume Museum.

On our way back to the port we stopped at some markets. Nothing that was particularly different.
Here is some of what we saw while traveling.

Cheers and good night Joey.
