Dichotomies

Our lecture today focused on a handful of people that throughout history found themselves abandoned on secluded islands as castaways. Their lives were incredibly miserable. We start to visit ports tomorrow and were warned not to miss our departing ship at the end of the day. I kind of think that being stranded in Hawaii might not equate to a horrible castaway disaster. At any rate, I then headed to afternoon tea with a wonderful violin quartet. This trip constantly highlights some of the dichotomies in life.

Cheers and good night Joey.

  1. Don’t know if today where you are is the day of or the day before or the day after your birthday, but, whichever, I hope it’s a memorable one!! Something makes me think it’s sure to be memorable. Cheers!!
