First, somewhere in time and space we past through the international date line yesterday. Tonight we gain another hour. Needless to say, I have no idea of the date or time.

Today, we arrived in Apia which is the capital of Samoa. It is a beautiful city.

As I was looking around the culturally center, a woman approached me to offer a tour of the island. I was hesitant but agreed. I had the best time. We first visited Robert Louis Stevenson’s house.

Next was a Baha i temple. Loved the docent that explained the temple and the faith. One of the inspirational sayings in the temple read- the light of good character suppresses the light of the sun. The temple and grounds were beautiful.

Next was a stop at the largest waterfall on the island.

Now the news- Samoa is a member of the British Commonwealth which has made arrangements to meet here in Samoa in October. I discovered where King Charles and the British delegation will be staying. Hopefully, the King will feel well enough to attend because these people are so excited.

Cheers and good night Joey
Looks amazing!
