Tauranga

This area is best know for the Rotorua geothermal activity. Many passengers were taking excursions to see that. I decided I would just take a stroll today. Got my walking shoes on and headed for the Mauao volcano at the end of the island and to places beyond. Come and take a walk with me.

As I was walking, a woman greeted me by saying Oscar. I thought it was a new Kiwi form of hello. After I responded, she pointed and said Oscar again and explained that Oscar is a favorite sighting off the trail.
