We wound our way down the Long Tau river following another ship to get to Saigon.

Saigon finally appeared and we found ourselves docked next to a bustling city. Our tour for the afternoon included some of the locations connected to our involvement in the Vietnam War.

Much like Hanoi, the city includes buildings representing the older French architecture.

Lacquerware is a special craft that was highlighted on our tour.

And the Buddha.

I admit to some hesitancy in coming to Vietnam but I was so impressed by the sites and the people. Once again, it is with regret that i leave this wonderful country.
I will be leaving the ship today and traveling to Cambodia to visit Angor Wat. I may not have WiFi and so will catch up after I arrive in Bangkok.
Cheers and good night Joey.
Yes I felt same but after being there we loved it. Cambodia was Ken’s fave.
