Angkor Wat

We flew to Cambodia in just over 1 hour. A chorus was at the airport to greet us and get us on our way to a spectacular dinner. It is the third and last day of the country’s New Year celebration.

Greeting at the airport.
Beginning of night celebration

There was the food that included fried worm, cricket, frog and tarantula.

Cricket, frog and worms
Shrimp and fish

The dancers entertained between each course.

We arrived at the Raffles Grand Hotel which is located across from the Royal park. They had scheduled a concert for the evening. Very festive and the hotel is lovely.

View of the park from my balcony.

Tomorrow the temples.

Cheers and good night Joey
