Kathmandu, third day

I wore my two blessed scarfs to help improve our positive vibes. The company sent a surveillance plane ahead to determine if Mt Everest was visible. The word was that it was a go. I cannot capture how excited our group was that after two delays and facing our last day we were finally on our way. After getting on the plane, we were informed that the visibility had lessened and were asked if we wanted to cancel. We had a resounding demand to continue the journey. So, off we went.

Enjoy the Himalayas.

The perfect ending to an unbelievable trip. Words just aren’t enough to describe this part of the world. We had the best guides and accommodations. The food was different but healthy and filling. The experiences can’t be duplicated.

Back to Mumbai, India and the ship.
