Dubai, UAE

We arrived at this fascinating city with plenty of glitz.

Once again, our tour included a mosque. This was built in the 1970s as Dubai came of age with the help of oil.

The Jumeirah mosque is closed most of the week but visitors can walk around it.
The famous Burj Al Arab with each room having at least 1,700 sq ft. It made such a splash when it was built that it was the beginning of tourism.
The frame that is meant to frame the many buildings in the landscape.
Old town Dubai
The economy of Dubai was built on the pearl industry.
Abra station offers boats that take passengers from one side of the Dubai creek to the souq area with various items for sale.
The entrance to the shopping area.
Spices
Gold is a major selling item for the walkway.
Several of the Royal family yachts.

Dubai doesn’t disappoint.

Cheers and good night Joey.
