Khasab, Oman

We are out of India and have made it to this small town of 30,000 people.

Boating area next to the port. Some of these boats are used to smuggle goods into Iran which is about 40 miles away.

Our tour was limited but fun. The Arabian influence is beautifully surrounded by mountains that rim the coastline.

The Khasab Fort that was built by the Portuguese was our first stop.

A room used during the hot weather with slats that allow air movement.

We drove to the small center of the town. Notice that many signs include English

Daily farmers market

Leaving the town we past some beautiful homes.

We traveled along the coast to Mukhi to see their town, mosque and fort.

This was such a great stop to transition from India to the Arabian Peninsula.

Cheers and good night Joey.
