Mombasa,Kenya

We arrived at our Mombasa port at 5:00 am. By 6:45 we were on our way to the airport to catch a plane to get to the Amboseli Park to enjoy a one day safari.

Let’s go

Greetings at the port. First time since Japan. Such a treat to be so joyously welcomed
There were about ten of us to each plane.

The sky kept changing and was beautiful

Let’s see our friends

Many African elephants which were much larger than those seen in Asia.
Egrets accompany the elephants to pick insects off of them and get the insects that emerge from their footprints as they walk.

We had lunch at a great resort just outside Amboseli.

It was an unbelievable day. Unfortunately, we left shortly after getting back to the ship and were unable to tour Mombasa.
