Durban, South Africa/Johannesburg, South Africa/Livingstone, Zambia

We arrived in Durban at 1:00 pm yesterday and went through customs. As soon as we were done we were taken to the Durban airport to fly to Johannesburg to stay the night. This morning we boarded a flight for Livingston to stay a few days at the Sussi and Cumba Treehouse Lodge. What a whirlwind. After we arrived and got our own treehouse, we met for lunch and an early evening boat ride down the Zambezi river that separates Zambia from Zimbabwe and feeds Victoria Falls. What an experience. We didn’t see much wildlife but the river experience was wonderful.

Take a look.

Lunch overlooking the river with some hippos floating just under the water’s surface.
Currents were stronger in different areas.
Break in the river with Zambia on the left and Zimbabwe on the right.

We finished the day with glorious memories.

Cheers and good night Joey.
